The worm farm ships on mondays. Your order must be in by friday at 2 pm to ship by the following monday. Any orders placed on a weekend will ship the 2nd monday away.
Composting worms, also known as vermicomposters, are small, fast-moving worms that eat food scraps and other organic material. As they pass through the worm's body, the food scraps become compost, which exits the worm's tail end.

Are you a new worm farmer? Check out our red/euro mix to get your new worm bin going. We suggest a mix of reds and euros as this is the most efficient mix for composting food scraps and other organic material in worm bins.
We also offer just redworms if that's exactly what your looking for.
These are bed run size which means they are taken directly from the worm farm and screened and sent to you. These are not baby worms like some farms sell.
Orders must be placed by friday to ship that next monday. All orders placed on the weekend will ship the following monday a week later. Live worm orders only ship on mondays and you will recieve a tracking number as soon as we have it. Please keep and eye on it to ensure your worms do not sit in a hot mailbox or out in the sun. Please contact us IMMEDIATLEY with any issues due to shipping. 860-603-2374 or Makeorganicsoil@gmail.com

Product features
Red wigglers and European nightcrawlers are amazing for vermicompost production . Red wigglers are smaller than European nightcrawlers and reproduce more quickly. Both are good fish bait as well. Composting worms need regular feedings of kitchen scraps and gardening waste. They can starve if they are fed too little, and they can't keep up if they are fed too much. To speed up worm composting, you can add foods that worms like in the right balance. You should avoid things that worms dislike, such as:
- Salty and spicy foods
- Too much citrus
- Oils
- Prepackaged foods with preservatives
- Meat and dairy products
- Any food that is starting to go moldy
You can also add coffee grounds to your worm farm, as they provide a natural pesticide to ward off pests such as snails, slugs, and ants.
